Session Keep Alive is a handy and reliable Firefox add-on that allows you to lengthen the timeouts on a site. Simply specify the login and logout addresses so the addon knows when you're logging in and out, and specify a page which is part of the site to be requested in the background while you're doing other things and you're done.
